Well I do like how my set up is coming along, even if I did forget my banner! I think secretly I want to change it….that’s my excuse anyway. I did get compliments from Tony, the show organiser, on how good it looked. I think you need to make an effort to be different, hence writing a big list of improvements as soon as I’d set up. It was a good show – I really enjoyed talking to all the brides to be and the kind of photography they loved. Hopefully we’ll see some sales and a big thanks to Jo Greenwood my web developer for all her hard work. We now have the website pride of place!
Had a look back of some of the photos I took last year and stumbled across these two little urchins – my daughter and her friend. I’d just added some pics to ‘Happy Times’ on the site and then this popped up and wanted to add it in and pretend they were at the wedding. Happy times indeed!
I love this style. I love to capture the colour and energy in portraits and David La Chapelle has a really opulent feel. I think a bit of bright, BRIGHT colour says a lot!!
My wife loves these vintage postcard wedding invitations on Not On The High Street. Wedding stationary used to be so expensive, I should know, I used to print it in another life. Now it’s affordable and varied so couples can have something that reflects their taste.
Black and white really can emphasise the beauty of a encounter. I like to mix it up on the day and do a bit of both.
